ABOUT US
Supporting Efforts for Justice Through Community & Solidarity
Community Solidarity Project is a Los Angeles-based 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that was founded with the goal of supporting grassroots groups and local nonprofits with large scale distributions and donation facilitation, as well as event production and protest safety. Essentially logistics of all kinds in service of social justice and liberation. We believe that by working in solidarity, we can achieve the vision of a more equitable society for all.

Founded in 2021, Community Solidarity Project is run by a core team of people who are diverse in race, gender, orientation, immigration status, socioeconomic background, and lived experience. Some of our core team members have experienced homelessness, and we are all working class. What ties us together is our belief in strong community systems, networks built outside of capitalism (and all of the -isms that go with it), and people-powered action on all fronts. This is why we focus our efforts on what we call "Solidarity Projects."
In addition, our organization also operates Bernie's Coffee Shop, a third space community center and event space located in Mid City, Los Angeles on Museum Row.
